  2. Day +90

    SIM deactivated

    Fri, 5 Feb, 2027 · in 90 days

    No recharge or activity for 90 days. All services stop. You can still restore the number for 15 days.

  3. Day +105

    Number permanently disconnected

    Sat, 20 Feb, 2027 · in 105 days

    The reactivation window closes. The number can later be given to a new customer — anything linked to it (bank, UPI, Aadhaar OTPs) is at risk.

Keep your number alive: Keep at least ₹20 main balance — each ₹20 buys 30 more days once the 90-day inactivity limit hits. Any small recharge also resets the clock.

Rules used (TRAI + Jio)

  • Deactivation after 90 days with no recharge or activity.
  • If balance ≥ ₹20, ₹20 is deducted for 30 more days, repeatedly.
  • 15-day window to restore after deactivation.
  • Outgoing calls, SMS and data stop as soon as the plan expires.
  • Incoming calls after expiry vary with your last plan and may continue until the number is deactivated.
  • Users report a "₹20 deducted from Top-up balance as no usage observed for 90 days" message, matching the TRAI rule.
